This is true most guys see it coming when it’s coming at their best friend. But we have a blind spot for when it’s coming us personally. Like we can only see it with our peripheral vision. I think this is because of the inherent dishonesty of the way women communicate with men. It’s not all lies but there’s a great deal of ambiguity, and most things said are sincere but not truthful, not durable over time. A man’s word is his bond, a woman’s is not. The feminine need for plausible deniability makes it very tough for the man to know what is real and what is illusion.

At some point a man either decides to trust the woman, or becomes a cynic like me and just waits patiently for the knife to the back, or simply maintains a enough distance that woman becomes disenchanted by his/my never ending doubt and suspicion and leaves. Since most of us don’t get many chances to advance we tend to make risky leaps of faith, sometimes very, risky. We blame the world because in the lead up to making the leap all the women, culture and society were encouraging it.
