I am a biracial woman living in Boston and have come up against many of the same challenges. Even on online dating sites, the men I am attracted to mark “White/Caucasian” in the section where they describe what they are looking for. Off the bat, that makes me not want to contact them. So – if you come up with any great ideas of finding people with a more open mind, let me know :) . Boston is a tough city to date in in general, and when you add the racial factor it came seem down right impossible. It is nice to know that I am n ot the only person having these struggles. Thanks for sharing.

 typically like a nice and cute woman, but i feel boston girls aren’t naturally very nice and the looks i see them having on the streets turns me off more and more.

Just to identify this single point, from my travels I agree that Boston is less friendly (first impression) than many other places but once you can ignnore the ‘before-I-know-you’ look, the ice seems to melt away after a minute or two of conversation.
