You wrote a ton about yourself. He commented on NONE OF IT. He just asked for your age. That’s not a European quirk. American guys do it too. And we call those guys douchebags.

uhm, no we don’t. She wrote a lot about herself, so maybe he didn’t need to ask any questions because he wants to do so in person? Why would that make him a douchebag? How does asking someone their age make them a douchebag? It doesn’t.
