I appreciate that women have to take responsibility for their own actions and I’m not in any way saying Rivelino was at fault here

but

I’m surprised that your initial reaction was to say “well done” rather than regret that the girl in the case put out so readily.”

It’s very *confused face* “Why are you with Riv’s motivations and not regretting the girls”.

I used regret because she did and also, it seemed to be used in a “shamed” sense, and I didn’t want to put words in her mouth but, that’s the feeling I got.

Re ‘regret’ my impression of Susan has always been of a mother keeping an eye on the girls in her care (I may be blurring her with grerp a bit here, but I seem to remember that when I first started reading the blog she mentioned that she’d been inspired to start it by the young women she met). I know that this has changed a bit but my initial reaction was surprise that her first thought wasn’t how stupid Crystal had been. It was indeed confused face but in the genuine sense rather than the shaming sense – I wondered had I missed something.
