I can’t blame women for liking online dating. I’d like it too if I could get so many dates. What I think is ridiculous are these loser men who not only stick around but defend this new way of the world. And I fear that it screws it up for the rest of us real men who take risks and approach women in public. Twenty years ago, I could go up to a girl, talk, and maybe get a date with her. Today, if that girl is online, my chances, as stated above, are zilch. When she has fifty other guys to choose from on her dating site, I might as well slink off somewhere and just become a monk.
Excellent analysis. Logic almost always makes a better starting point than emotions when facing a potentially life-altering decision. As an aside, a guy who would frame the situation in such emotional language in the first place suggests insecurity and heavily beta thinking. This time the tattoo had little to do with him but if he doesn’t embrace his inner masculinity the next one actually might be done as a sign of her disdain for his lack of a backbone.
